September 24th to September 30th

The week started well as I was still in Italy, Gaiole in Chianti to be exact, I highly recommend this place for a visit, it was a chill out day as we had been going hard at it.

This was followed by a visit to Siena, then a visit to San Gimignano. The next day was the trip to Rome for the last day and a half of our holiday.

All in all I really loved Italy and look forward to going back again soon, I do have one question though –

Has anyone ever figured out what the Romans do that we must do when in Rome?

Enjoy

Cheers

Ken

San Gimignano is all about the towers of the rich and notorious as status symbols, there were as many as 107 at one stage. This doorway offered a different view.
