October 8th to October 14th

Well in London we are in that tight crossover period where daylight saving has nearly ended and autumn is getting on with it. So I find I am chasing the light like a man possessed.

This is a good thing, it really makes me have to be on my toes to try and get a shot, some days it works out and some days not so much.

I have worked out some different routes to work to give me a wider area to comb for subjects, so lets see what that reveals in the next few weeks

Enjoy

Cheers

Ken

Oct 8th:

Tuesday morning I got off at Green Park station and saw all the light coming through the trees and went straight to the actual park, lovely way to start the day.

Oct 9th:

A cow on a first floor balcony in central London, no panic! This happens all the time.

Oct 10th:

Some days I walk for miles and struggle to get a shot, other days, like today I walk out of the station and bang, got it in one.

Oct 11th:

I have worked late every night this week so it has been imperative to get a photo in the morning lest I have no opportunity after work. Today the sun was playing hide and seek, all of a sudden near Oxford circus it popped out and lit up “old Glory”

Oct 12th:

A day out over to the east side of town to help with dress shopping, okay… I said “awesome” a lot and drank coffee.

Oct 13th:

Well it has rained all day so all I got was a 10 minute window between downpours. Was a day spent watching the BTCC final from Brands Hatch.

Oct 14th:

I love this mini in front of this small house, most probably the only house in the area with a driveway.

Neatest most correct entry:

A great way to brighten up a bank.
I love a good parabolic lens.
Badly placed signs are fun.
Okay so this car is cool.
The view in B&W, still looks great.
I so want to use this image in a erectile disfunction add.
This may be the new MI5 headquarters
or it may just be a visual travesty.

Nature on sunday

In between the rain

Not mushroom in here, he’s a real funghi though

I love a good quirky window display, most are too contrived and pretentious, this one is not

But is it art??:

No it is not, what were you thinking?! Whoever signed off on this should kill themselves. This is most probably the first use of “Scorched Earth” as a visual manifesto for a public place, there is not one redeeming quality about this behemoth… (okay rusting away may offer hope).

I really hope there is a cafe or restaurant on the upper level, it means there is somewhere in London you can sit in comfort, enjoy a meal and not see this scar on the landscape.
