October 15th to October 21st

So, the mornings are foggy and a bit rainy, the evenings this week have been absolutely delightful, I would rather be just hanging out watching the colour and the light change, however there is only a small window to get a photo done.

Some days I have gone a bit manic, but that’s all part of the fun.

Enjoy

Cheers

Ken

Oct 15th:

Interesting day, landed at Kings Cross station on the bus. The bus took so long to get there I really only had 5 mins to look around, so it was a walk to Green Park in the evening where I found this scene.

Oct 16th:

Moving into the upper levels seemed like a good idea during summer.

Oct 17th:

There seems to be a Lamborghini outbreak at the moment.

Oct 18th:

You are always being watched, although I would be creeped out by the mannequins a little more if I was this guy.

Oct 19th:

Popped over to Greenwich for a walk to North Greenwich peninsular – it’s all about the docks and the shipping history over there.

Oct 20th:

Trying to not be seen, but I see you.

Oct 21st:

I went for walk around the block at lunch and found this excellent hood ornament, the car it was attached is lower down in the also rans. 10 points to Gryffindor if you pick the business and the car.

Neatest most correct entry:

Morning and evening sun can make things look so much better:

St Pancras station

 BBC Studios

 BBC Studios (the new bit)

 Wimpole St

Even a crane comes up well

Well, there was other things that didn’t rely on the evening light:

There seems to be a bent crane epidemic in London

A well used hoop

More fog

Check out these stoppers
Still one of my favourite car badges

Some days there are too many shots, this one on sunday (or “On any sunday“)

Parked outside this park

The car of the hood ornament

Within in 50 yards of the hood ornament I saw long lashes on an Aston Martin vantage

And a red flower poking its tongue at me

They came to do good, but is this evil?:

A bunch of people who slept out and lined up early, was it to get the new Paul McCartney album?

Please tell me no.

"Keep your hand on the plow, hold on". That's on old Appalachia hymn from the West Virginia area, not that I am a religious man or anything, I just appreciate heart felt words with a simple message. It means hold on to your faith, your belief, your ways…… because some will do their best to change you, alter your work, or even destroy you. Purism is not something you declare because you followed a set rules or standards and qualified, it's merely staying the course of what makes you ….you. If some forceful over-bearing other person pushes you? Hold on, hold on, hold on…..keep your hand steady on that plow….hold on. It's what others don't get, purism.

Thank you Gene, sage words from someone who obviously thinks about these things.

I appreciate the sentiments a lot

    cheers
