November 19th to November 25th

Tuesdays are always tough, its the start of the new week and I want to get out and nail a good one to kick off the week. Its getting harder but not impossible.

This week was beset by many public transport challenges and overtime at work, the overtime was on account of my colleague going off and getting married – so selfish 😉

It has been a sad week with the many deaths of cyclist on the London roads, yet a week of fun with Australia going 1-0 in the Ashes series cricket.

Lets see what I found this week aside from all that.

Enjoy

Cheers

Ken

Nov 19th:

I love the abstractness of this shot, good way to start the week

Nov 20th:

Not sure if dropped by drunk or rest of owner is now in Bogner Regis

Nov 21st:

Action shots with a point and shoot, no matter how high quality, are just hard. This was the middle of the day ISO 400, f2.8 and the camera still only managed 1/20th of sec shutter speed.

Nov 22nd:

A nice morning shot of the  moon

Nov 23rd:

I love a good local international marketing effort.

Nov 24th:

Bought a dining room table finally, picked it up from a local pre-loved shop, it needed to be small for our tiny flat.

Nov 25th:

This is the face of an English cricket fan after the drubbing at the Gabba

Neatest most correct entry:

I don’t know if purple light suits her
It pretty much looked liked regular scaffolding
Seasonal change to this site
Yerp, a rainy winters day can make it look very unappealing
I love a good shadow
The leaves are lovely at this time
What a difference a few weeks make in lighting
 These fish are quite massive
The original idea with the table
Just incase you were wondering who the cricket fan was

Should there be more regulation?

This week in London there were 6 pushbike riders killed on the roads, many theories have been put forward, but I think it is a case of Londoners need to start treating all roads user with respect rather than the current approach of “culture of entitlement”.

I couldn’t but help notice that on a very wet day that these tyres where not exactly seasonally worthy.

So do we need more education and more regulation in the way of spot checks by road authorities. The status quo isn’t working too well …………

I wonder:

There are people I know who really should think about this sign and its not anyone I like.
