July 30th to August 5th

Well after a crazy beginning of the week trying to get out two weeks worth of blog and choosing from a barrage of holiday photos in with the bargain I was in a bit of a daze on Tuesday and Wednesday trying to get back into the groove.

Well, the groove came back later in the week, so I’m a bit happy with the week as it evolved.

Instead of “Post Modern” or “Odd” this week there is “Thought provoking” instead so be sure to see that at the bottom.

enjoy

cheers

Ken

30 Jul:

I stood and looked around this park for about 10 mins after work, I have come to really enjoy being here it is very peaceful and relaxing.

31 Jul:

London, its hot, water your bloody plants!

1 Aug:

I like this alley way, still don’t know if I nailed it though, will have to keep checking back that way.

2 Aug:

There are lots of Barber shops around perhaps I can do a blog on them sometime, this is one of my fav’s!

3 Aug:

Dinner in town with some mates, Damo and Nikki, after day of bliss sorting stuff out at home, so my only op for photos was the evening twilight time, very fortuitous don’t you think. For the answer to what this is scroll down some more.

4 Aug:

Why does this church have two door bells, one white and one black, are they telling me that all that Jedi stuff is real?

5 Aug:

This is a ornamental radio mast on the old part of the BBC building, pretty cool stuff.

Neatest most correct entry:

May have photographed this before, still a cool staircase anyway

Saturday night in St Christopher’s place London

Selfridge’s in blue

They have great art in all the windows

I think red is this persons thing

Which brings me to this observation, why do they make garages too small to fit your car here in London, these are new builds BTW

Before your say anything about Toorak or Chelsea Tractors
Le Cat, Le Possum!

Thought provoking:

I love this shop, it is right near where I work and I would rather buy my books and DVD’s from them for the work they do

They recently gave the shop a bit of a once over with the hammer and nails plus a lick of paint, they even put their mission goals on the front

These are fantastic yet very humble and humane goals to have, so just read them through slowly a few times. I want to know why it takes a local charity to be doing this, isn’t this more a higher level country leadership type thing, plus I want to know why we have to have these as goals, they should be basic expectations across the world?

Why is it 2013 and we are still doing this?

Maybe if we attacked a country with picks and shovels, plus a big wedge of school books instead of pilotless drones we might get a little further than we have.

It has just left me quite stunned to see it like this. I hope one day it will read “Helping ex war lords and dictators learn how to farm”.
