I have commented often about the rain and the cold and it being dark when I leave work. The temperature hasn’t gone up much however the what does happen is each week the sun goes down about 15 minutes later than the week before.
So since I have been out each evening and actually taking notice of this I have seen the subtle shift from short days to a twilight time of about 6:10pm.
I am still taking the early train, I may even get the earlier one than that for a laugh and see what I can do with that bit of extra time before work starts.
Enjoy
cheers

Feb 26th:
After a wonderful uplifting afternoon at the Ansel Adams exhibition, I came away very inspired and even more motivated to endeavour to get great images for the blog.
This morning was not at all inspiring, I think even Ansel Adams would have struggled to find something. Not only was the light flat, it was heavy overcast then it started to rain.
Lunch time it had lightened up but was foggy which inspired me to head down to the Thames near London Bridge for a look which was great. Didn’t quite nail a shot that wasn’t an “obvious” shot. I did quite like this one of the park at lunch time.
Feb 27:
Raining dammit all, lucky there is a little more light after work to help out these days. Unfortunately this grab of an over the top collection of security cameras was the only shot that really worked out for the day. C’est la vie.

Well am I a bit happier, after a few days of struggle I feel I nailed a better shot, this outside a design studio, the only questions is:
Did they buy the Bike or the planter first, or maybe together as a deal?
Mar 2nd:
A day from hell. I went down south to a mates place who is letting me use his garage to do a winter overhaul of my motorbike. So I caught the train, should have taken a bit over an hour all up, took me 3 hours to get there and another 3 to get back, with a mix of rail works and broken signals it was a long day, hence the shot of Waterloo.
Mar 3rd:
After the hard day of train travel and overhauling the bike yesterday, today was a day of relaxing with mates at the pub. This is the Roundhouse Pub in Clapham Junction up near St Johns Hill where we stayed with Moira and Greg when we first got here. Many happy drinking hours have been spent in this pub. They do a great menu as well.
Mar 4th:
The countries media turned up in force outside the a hospital just around the corner from where I work. This is the royal hospital. The Queen had been checked in with a tummy bug, I think her and Phil got a dodgy curry on the saturday night while kicking back and watching schlepp TV.

It seemed for a few days this week the BT tower loomed over my every move. The following images are three days one after the other. It shows just how changeable the weather and light is.
