A roller coaster week for photography. Winter is hitting early and hard, it’s dark, cold and raining a lot so windows of opportunity are few and slim, but that’s all part of the challenge. – Okay that’s what I keep telling myself as I wander around in the dark getting soaked.
Also a roller coaster as this is the second last week of photo-a-day and my last week of work for the year. It has been a very full week and by friday night I was had it.
I got asked recently which is my most favourite shot this year – Ouch that is going to be hard…
I also got asked what will be the last shot for the year, or how to sign it off?
Well, best stay tuned next week and find out!!
Enjoy
Cheers
Ken

It matters not what the level of light is, one should be ready, this happened then she was gone, thankfully I was ready to roll. Everything else I go that day was under artificial light as well, gives you an idea just how dark the days are here.

I always try to find something quirky each week, this dude lives around the corner from me, only took me a year to discover him!

What happens when you go out on a school night – you go to take a second photo of the day and the card is full, lucky the first image wasn’t too bad, it is a comment on how much Londoners can be pigs.
Dec 21st:
Saturday was overcast and raining, I had to duck in and out of doorways to get shots. Was in an around the streets north of Oxford St and found some cool stuff but the lighting was diabolical.

London shines through about once a week, you just have to be ready to role and get the shot, this occasion was Sunday afternoon over between London Bridge and Tower Bridge along Tooley Street. All the other days I struggled to get a shot, today I am spoilt for choice.
Dec 23rd:
Not only was it dark today, I was getting a coffee and saw two cyclists get blown off of their bikes. At lunch it was raining hard and blowing a gail which continued up to and included my journey home. Lucky I grabbed this shot unless things for P-A-D could have come badly unhinged …………….

Okay this is my visual comment on the majority of shop staff I deal with in London. It really captures their friendly helpful expressions.
