Just one of those weeks where I get up and start walking towards the bus thinking “How am I going to get that photo, where will I go today, what will I look for?”
I was reading the paper on the train and read an article on balloon fulls of NO2 being sold to tourists in Bangkok and how they are clamping down on it hard before it takes off too big.
I kid you not I walked around the corner and thought, nice one Starbucks, thank you very much for starting my week off so well.
enjoy
cheers
Ken

Other than a big lump of culture visiting the Globe to see Shakespeare’s “A mid summers night dream“, we had a lovely walk along Bankside on the south side of the Thames as well.

Caught up with Damo and Nikki who had just got back from two weeks in the sun in Greece and Croatia. After much story telling and coffee we went for a walk to do the photo-a-day and I found this arcade, which is just so lovely.

So a huge Saturday afternoon at the Globe with Bill Shakespeare. This is a totally authentic recreation of the original globe, made with tools and techniques of the time, which is really impressive when you check the joint out.
The idea is the rich people buy the seats and the commoners pay to stand and watch. Never thought I would have it in me to stand and watch Bill Shake for 3 hours! and it only cost £5.00 each to stand.
So after an intense Shakespearean experience I needed to recover.

Some brought their own wharf while full of wine.
For me, I just ended up with tough choices to make…

Love this week too, and extra points for the fantastic Tour de France idea!!
Thanks Vanessa, if I was to go into detail I would say that using that bike with baguettes and wine on board is excellent for doping control.
If you get caught cheating with doping you then have to eat all the baguettes while the other riders sit and watch you while drinking the wine.
