April 9th to April 15th

This week has been all go, which is great, can’t say the same for London trains, they have been crapper than usual but I guess that will never change.

Variable weather again giving variable results but I think the early part was a struggle, however late in the week was a trip to the Brecon Beacons in Wales for three days.

riddle me this ! Why when it is over cast and drizzly in London it is just rubbish  the same weather in the Welsh mountains  is stunningly beautiful.

I don’t get it

anyway

enjoy

cheers

Apr 9th:

Quick lap around the block in a different direction revealed some new stuff. I have been reading lots of stuff about the surrealist since seeing the Man Ray exhibition, my favourite has always been Lee Miller who was into “Natural Surrealism”

Not that this image is surrealistic but I am trying to see patterns occurring naturally and from there looking for the surrealistic outcome.

Apr 10th:

A push around the oxford street area heading east this morning didn’t reveal much, I did find a little back nook I haven’t been to before, so went and looked at lunch and found this chimney

Apr 11th:

It is pouring rain today and I am under some time pressure since I now have to ride to Wales tonight rather than tomorrow morning, This image appealed to my sense of amusement, it reminded me of the Running Man cafe in Adelaide which is situated next to the citys law enforcement watch house.

Apr 12th:

Wales, what a lovely place to be, so many beautiful scenes it is hard to try and capture just one, this is one of the smaller back roads I found while meandering.

Apr 13th:

The Brecons on a drizzly misty day. I was riding along up the mountain pass when I decided it was too foggy and turned back, as I came down the hill I spotted this. You wouldn’t see it from a car and having the bike I could park up and walk back easily.

After taking the shot I consulted the map and to get home I had to head back up into the fog anyway.

Apr 14th:

Heading back to London today so my only camera time was lunch time in Cheltenham

So lunch is the photo to be had !!

Apr 15th:

Holy knackered everything Batman, I feel like I have ridden a motorbike for the last 4 days, it feels great but it hurst on some bits. Well its back to the grind, but not to worry the sun popped out to make things look good. I have seen Potato man several times but never been able to get the shot.

Well today I was there for the action!

Neatest most correct entry:

Some more from Wales:

A branch over a river from a hump back bridge

The hump back bridge

Did I mention the foggy mountain road

The rules are you must always photograph your ride

So post modern:

Maybe not post modern but when you take a sneaky photo of a faceless mannequin and realise latter your legs are now its snot! All a bit weird and a bit post modern.
