April 16th to April 22nd

After a busy weekend away the week got even busier, not in a bad way just very crowded, so a bit of a struggle at times to fit in photography time. I am thinking of using the evenings more than the mornings since BST is here along with slightly fairer weather.

Lots of motorbiking this week, must be the better weather helping that along.

Enjoy

Cheers

Ken

Apr 16th:

I love this spot, I wish I could be a fly on the wall and keep account of the OCD people who go by and are disturbed by this bent rail.

Apr 17th:

This church is not far from work, as you wander around the block it is impressive just how big it is for an inner city church, the overall size is diminished upon first view by all the newer buildings, further inspection revealed this little “mews” view of it.

Apr 18th:

A Daliesque morning in Marylebone high street.

Apr 19th:

This wall is white, it has flat lighting the dark areas are just pollution build up. The magic of living in a big city.

Apr 20th:

A great day, Damo came over and we went for a ride south of the M25 to East Grinstead for a coffee then a ride over to Rykers (beware link has evil design elements) for more coffee. After this I rode back to a Greg and Moiras place in Clapham Junction for some dinner.

This is the lemon tart that Moira baked, she was so proud of her effort, it was awesomely yummy as well!!

Apr 21st:

Another sunny day and another day out biking. Damo and I went to Ace cafe for Adventure bike day. Authors Sam Manicom, Austin Vince and Graham Field where there along with a wide variety of bikes and people.
Afterwards I visited my friends Douglas and Kathryn over at Pimlico. Douglas had organised a tour of some fine coffee shops through the central London area. I have seen a lot of stylised coffee shops but never one with a pommel horse in the window.

Apr 22nd:

Mondays is always a tough day to get rolling. After a weekend of taking my time to go do photos, its back to the schedule, this morning I wasn’t feeling the vibe, so went out at lunchtime and go the juices flowing.

After work I walked south to see what I could find and I bumped into this guy

Shisha man

Neatest most correct entry:

A lot of action this week but lets start with this for an idea, this hotel has absolutely no branding whatsoever, apparently this is a new trend in marketing.

Photo bomber of the week:

While going over some photography techniques with Moira and Greg the light came across the candles which we all decided was inspiring  so much so Greg wanted to be a part of it, so your guest celebrity photo bomber of the week is Greeeeeg Kileeeeeeeeeeeeee!!
