January 22nd to January 28th

Well I thought I survived week 3 okay. Lets see how this week pans out, more snow predicted and more chaos on the trains.
Enjoy

Cheers

January 22nd:

What a have Southern trains are, get over to the train this morning and the early train is cancelled and the next train is late. Took forever to get to London Bridge and then the tube was crowded so had to wait for a few before I could get on. Net result, no time for photos before work dammit, lunchtime was so dark damp and overcast there were no opportunities. I wonder if this photo s a very sophisticated version of coffee froth?

January 23rd:

Well that was a better morning, even got a cup of coffee! These squares are all over te west end, something that London does well, each corner has these classic English type dwellings that make you feel very London.

January 24th:

I do love London for the quirky thing s you find, this boot scrapper was on the wall outside the Henry Holland pub, very quintessentially English.

 January 25th:

I took this shot of the small alley way I walk down occasionally, I thought I would get something later in the day as I was running out of time in the morning. Lucky I took this shot as there was no later in the day. Although I did end up at a steak restaurant with a ex Aussie navy engineer drinking a lot of Argentinian Malbec.

 January 26th:

Well after a big night out it was with reluctance I got out of bed but the groceries needed to be done, these mirrors are a small shop that does very well from local flat renovations.

 January 27th:

The return of the cough dammit. Our mate Damo came over to say hello and happy new year, he had been in Ozzie with his girl Nikki so it was good to see him. We went out for some late brekkie and all I did was cough dammit. Afterwards when we went for stroll to look for opportunities I got this shot of another of our fav cafes, totally vego this one. Rather funny the day a few builders walked in remembering when it was a full on greasy spoon – my were they surprised at the new menu.

 January 28th:

Well what a surprise the sun was shining today for a short while and so I walked down some different streets and caught the is angle of the famous BT tower. What I thought was dust on the sensor is actually birds and an aircraft.
